Welcome to MetroWest Free Medical Program.  We are a free clinic located in Marlborough and Sudbury, MA.  Our providers are volunteers in the community, as well as a small team of clinical and administrative staff.  We look forward to welcoming you as a patient to our program.  Interpreters are available for your care.

Please note that our Adult Medicine and Women's Health clinics have moved from our temporary location at EMK Community Health Center in Framingham to our new location in Marlborough.

Our goal is to connect you to the best care possible.

  •  Edward M Kennedy Community Health Center. They have locations in Framingham, Milford and Worcester.
  • There is a wait time at the Community Health Center of over a year for adults and 6 months for children. The sooner you sign up, the sooner you will be able to become their patient and have all services you need for your health  - medical and dental and lab - in one location.

If you live north of Marlborough, you could instead sign up to be a patient at Community Health Connections with clinics in Fitchburg, Gardner and Leominster Massachusetts.

  • The wait time is less than 6 months to become a new patient. They offer urgent care, medical, dential, vision, mental health, nutrition, lab.
  • Call 978-878-8100, press 3 and then 1 for English or 2 for Spanish/Portuguese OR fill out a “new patient” form online https://chcfhc.org/Become-A-Patient

They also require that uninsured and self-pay patients receive key information, including overviews of anticipated costs and details about your rights.

Free For All Services

At MetroWest Free Medical Program, there is no fee ($0) for any services you receive.

Referrals and fees

MetroWest Free Medical Program may make a referral and help make an appointment for you for a referred service.  You may be billed for services outside of MetroWest Free Medical Program.  The referral provider is required to provide you a “good faith estimate” of all costs of the treatment. Information is here. https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises

We will see you regardless of whether you have insurance.  If you have health insurance, we encourage you to bring this information as it helps if you may need a referral.  We also encourage you to apply for insurance.
